Reader Interrogation Time!

Happy St. Valentine’s Day, or happy feast of Sts Cyril and Methodius! I’m going to celebrate by performing in my church’s dinner theater production! While I expect everything to go well, and for the show to be well recieved, I will be glad to be done. I’m ready to have my weeknights back. I love performing, but my life just isn’t conducive to being an actor right now.

This photo shows how tired I am. Byron is actually holding me up.

Taking a part in the play was one of those things I did because I thought I’d somehow have more time, and it wouldn’t be quite so hard because Addie is driving and everyone is older, but (surprise!) it’s still been hard. Staying out late at play practice, waking up several times at night, and then rising at 5:30 a.m. to get the boys ready for school means I’m dragging a bit more than usual. If questioned, the kids would be hard pressed to remember a day recently when I wasn’t in my pajamas until lunch…or later. But I did manage to get Fulton and Teddy registered for MDA Summer Camp this week so commence countdown to ‘Mama and Papa Week 2020’!

But while scrolling through my Google Drive, too tired to do anything productive, I came across the results of my last two reader surveys and thought “BOOYAH! There’s a good idea!” I actually did surveys in 2016, and 2018, so it’s only fitting that this week, when all my motivation is geared towards not yawning on stage, I present you with the 2020 Reader Survey!

Maybe I’m weird but I love learning who reads my blog and taking the information gathered and turning it into color-coded pie graphs. And with each survey, I also get better at knowing what questions to ask. The first year I got such a jumble of information my pie graphs looked like pizzas cut into slices for a second grade field trip (ie lots of thin, messy slices). The next one was better, and so I’ll be curious to compare the 2020 results with the 2018 findings. Will I have more self-proclaimed cats than chickens?? I can’t wait to find out! If you’ve got five minutes please take my survey before next weeks Takes and then swing back for all the exciting details! (You can complete it in the small window below [stupid theme], or CLICK to visit the form in a new tab.)

If you’re not in a play, I expect the full amount of Quick Takes from you! Write them down then link them up below. Be sure to include a link back to this post so your readers can find the rest of the Takes. I look forward to reading your posts!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
