I’m going to use this page to point you in the direction of favorite things I know, use and love on a regular basis. Do I need to state there’s affiliate links everywhere? Well, there are. Are you looking for something else or do you have something (book, product, business) you think I’d like to add? Then send me an email, kellymantoan(at)gmail(dot)com . I’m always updating my Pinterest boards and Amazon lists with new stuff so be sure to check back!

To find a list of books written by female Catholic bloggers, you can view this board on Pinterest.

I keep a list of books I’ve read at Goodreads. For longer reviews check out my ‘Books’ category tag. I add my favorite titles to my Store.

For homeschooling / educational books, you can also check out my Store; it’s got all grades and subjects, plus my favorite school supplies too.

For Catholic e-books, I recommend my friends at Catholic Children’s eBooks. they’ve digitized a bunch of old titles you can’t buy anywhere else.

My kids love the historical fiction from Arx Publishing and the picture and coloring books from Potamitus Publishing.

I run a self-hosted WordPress site on Dreamhost. My husband and I do all the maintenance and design. My current theme is Amadeus.

While I don’t write about blogging, I do read about it, and social media, a bunch. Again, I keep track of my favorite sites on Pinterest. I use Canva to make any images with text or collages and either PicMonkey standard or Afterlight (on my phone) to edit images.

I recommend the following plug-ins:

Akismet – to eliminate spam
Google AdSense – makes it really easy to place Google ads on your WordPress site
Pinterest Pin It Button On Hover
All In One WP Security
WP Greet Box – let readers know how to subscribe or follow at the top of a post
Shareaholic – nice share buttons at the bottom of your post
WP Simple Paypal Shoping Cart – to sell your own products through your site

I use E-junkie to sell my downloads and I use it to participate in other blogger’s affiliate programs.
