Yes, This is my New Year’s Resolutions Post It’s time to review last year’s effort and fit this year’s goals into a TikTok trend! As I am not on TikTok, I’m not sure how popular the idea of creating a personal curriculum still is (I think it peaked in August 2025??), but I’m here for…
It’s time for my yearly New Year’s Resolution post! (A post recapping Christmas is up next.) Although it feels like a luxury, I’ve been taking a bunch of time to think about my resolutions and figure out how to manage my time going into the New Year. Ever since I started back up with homeschooling…
Starting off 2024 with a timely New Year’s Resolutions post. First up, how’d I do with last year’s resolutions? I only made two so how hard could it have been right?? RIGHT???!?!? 1. Be focused on spiritual improvement this year. I think for the first half of the year, I did pretty good on this…
Well, I’ve had plenty of time to overthink about my New Year’s resolutions. Seems like it’s time to actually write a post about them, and see how I did on last year’s resolutions. First, the review! What did I hope to accomplish in 2022? So, I don’t think I did too terrible. You won’t be…
It’s time to review last year’s resolutions (including one I’d totally forgotten about) and set some goals for the new year, as well as select a new beast to guide me in monstrous fashion through 2022. First things first; how’d I do with last year’s resolutions? Eat healthy as a family. – Spurred on by…
First, let’s just acknowledge that no one was able to stick to his or her resolutions in 2020, and consequently agree to not judge one another. Second, I’m going to share my resolutions as I always do, more from a sense of obligation/tradition rather than the belief that doing so will make me more successful….
How is it already time for another New Year’s Resolutions post? I blinked and 2019 was OVER. Time to reflect, choose a new beast, and think about what I want to accomplish this year. Previous years posts: 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 Last year at this time, we had just closed on our…
This is probably the least prepared I’ve been for writing a resolutions post. Not sure what that means for the success rate, but let’s do this thing!! First a recap of my 2018 resolutions. They were: keep exercising eat French stick with regular intermittent fasting limit mindless Facebook time and focus on in-person relationship building…
The imperative to create and post my resolutions directly corresponds to my mood at year’s end. If fall felt harried and Advent and Christmas rushed, then chances are, I’m eager to commit to lofty goals for the following year. However, since I didn’t feel like I dropped every ball these last few weeks, I’ve been…
Everyone can let out a collective sigh of relief because my New Year’s resolution post is finally done! I just can’t kiss 2016 goodbye, until I share last year’s goals and my dismal success rate. But thankfully I learned to look for that silver lining amidst all the chaos! Let’s jump in. 2016 Resolutions 1.Finish…
It’s time for the yearly practice of setting myself up for disappointment! Let’s talk New Year’s resolutions! YAY!!! How’d I do in 2015. To recap, my saint was St. John Bosco, my word was gratitude and my beast was the Jaberwocky. I immediately forgot about ALL OF THOSE THINGS ten minutes after hitting publish on…
Now that I’ve covered the posts and pictures of 2014, it’s onto 2015 and all my hopes and dreams for the coming year. I blogged my 2013 resolutions and my 2014 resolutions so it only makes sense to keep a running tally of my successes and failures. This year, rather than being overly philosophical, I’ve just…
Last year I wrote up a post of New Year’s Resolutions. It went something like this: Go To the Outer Banks Write a Book Exercise as a family. Vague Vaguer Maybe this, maybe that Triple Headed Monster Lady It quickly became apparent that many of my goals were too non-specific and thus, worthless. Those that…
