Catching up on all the things! If you just want the details since my last post, feel free to skip to the bottom. I figured I should use our Christmas break to update the blog before my usual holiday wrap up post. I’m saving money and not sending Christmas cards this year (again), so this…
Taking some time this Christmas break to write up a year in review post. If you want a brief recap of all the things, keep reading! January It was a quiet month. I didn’t blog any updates. We had fun during the 12 days of Christmas as usual, and we got snow (and snow days)…
I’m taking a break from eating all the things to finally write my typical year end blog post. Even though I’ve posted the least amount of posts EVER, there was still plenty going on here. I think a lot of this info will be new to readers as I wasn’t blogging much, but journaling almost…
Probably time to give an update to round out 2022. If you just want to know what I’ve been up to for the last two months (since my last post), just skip to the bottom. I won’t judge you for it. Most pictures are at the end. Also – affiliate links! So if you click…
It’s the 2021 Year in Review post! For when I want to take a stroll down memory lane quickly, without having to scroll through all my uncategorized posts. I’ve got some favorite books listed (affiliate links), popular posts, updates on the family, and some pictures. It’s like the Christmas letter you used to write for…
And what a year it was right?? Last year I never wrote a year in review post. Instead, it went out as a belated newsletter to subscribers. In fact I hardly posted in December at all, and in reading my January posts, I’m reminded of the high hopes I had for this year. Lots of…

Sorry, this will be twelve takes instead of seven. BUT!! I encourage you (if you don’t already have a super sweet #7QT lined up) to create your own year-end review post and link it up below. Now you can’t say you don’t have anything to write about. I’ll give a photo, summary, my top ten…
It’s the time of year to reflect, reminisce and blog feelings of nostalgia. Prepare for a brief overview with pictures. I’ll write another post about my resolutions, goals and deep feelings of inadequacy. (Plus the 2017 beast! I don’t even know what creature will shape my destiny this year!) Each month has a photo or two,…
Dwija does it again with a 12 in 2014 Photo Link Up! This thing is a Christmas tradition for me, just like eating candy for breakfast and collecting gift receipts! So, how did my year look? January- It was pretty much the coldest winter ever and I hated every minute of it. February-The…

Over a few glasses of spiked something recently, I was thinking of it, got nostalgic and immediately ran to my computer and started scrolling through old posts…

Our family keeps our decorations up until February second, so reading this letter before then fulfills any obligation we have to each other of yearly holiday correspondence. Now…
